OMHOF to host Birthday Bash for Texas Playboys vocalist, Ramona Reed
Muskogee, Okla. – The Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame will host a birthday bash for OMHOF inductee Ramona Reed on Thursday, November 16th at 7 pm at the Frisco Depot, 401 S. 3rd in Muskogee.
OMHOF member, Grand Ole Opry performer, and Bob Wills vocalist celebrates another birthday and everyone is invited! Hear Ramona perform with special guests and tell stories from her days as Martha White on The Grand Ole Opry next to stars like Hank Williams, Roy Acuff, and Minnie Pearl – to her time on the road with Bob Wills and The Texas Playboys – a career that has spanned more than 60 years!
There will be a number of special guests, including the Round-Up Boys! The Round Up Boys were founded in 1989 by Bob Fjeldsted in Tulsa, Oklahoma and are primarily known for their classic country & Bob Wills music. It’s the music your Mom and Dad loved – stuff that made Tulsa famous.
Admission is $5 and all ages are welcome!
The Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday 10-5 pm. “Live at the Frisco Depot” is presented every Thursday night at 7 pm and features local, regional and national musical acts.
