OMHOF to host Thursday night “Live at The Frisco Depot” – featuring Bluefish

Muskogee, Okla. – The Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame will host Bluefish
Thursday, February 9th at 7 pm at the Frisco Depot, 401 S. 3rd in Muskogee.

In Oklahoma, few bands last more than half a decade, unless of course you’re Muskogee-based R&B band – Bluefish.
Since 1987, vocalist/front man John Fabian, guitarist Shane Cook and bassist Jim Loftin have been turning out groovy, bluesy, soulful tunes to dancing room only crowds all over Oklahoma and Arkansas. Nowadays they’re joined by drummer Bill Padgett and sax man Steve Jonkey. They’ve got over 20 original songs that reek of the Blues, including uncanny compositions like, “Alimony Blues,” “Big Fat Woman” and “I Love My Pussycat.” Bluefish has even won two “Best Local Band” awards as chosen by the readers of the Muskogee Phoenix in 2002 and 2007.

Doors open at 6:30, show starts at 7 pm. Admission is $5 at the door – and all ages are welcome!
