Muskogee, Okla. – The Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame will host country band, “City Moon” for New Years Eve 2016, Saturday, December 31st at 8 pm at the Frisco Depot, 401 S. 3rd in Muskogee.

City Moon has literally traveled around the world presenting their “lively” style of country music, including two trips to Europe as the feature act of Germany’s largest country music festival in Schluesingen. The band will also be joined with special local guests.
Based out of Oklahoma City, City Moon was formed in 1988 by Virgil and Glen Bonham with their father, Orville, on fiddle. In the early 1990’s, bassist Cliff Parrett and drummer Cory Wyatt joined the band and then Jim Blair was added in 2001. Original material is complimented with a number of classic country/rock tunes with heavy influences by Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Flatt & Scruggs, and Ronnie Milsap.
